This full home renovation was an amazing experience. These homeowners were looking to renovate their main floor and create a luxury master bedroom retreat complete with a renovation of their ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet and an addition over their covered patio to serve as a private yoga studio. Unfortunately, while we were in the planning process of that renovation one of the sprinkler heads in the basement failed and flooded the basement. So, in addition to the main floor and upstairs a complete basement renovation was also needed. From the grand staircase showcasing custom floor to ceiling wainscotting to the copper ceiling in the basement, this home was full of luxury selections.
The homeowners wanted the undeveloped basement to serve as the ultimate space. Just under half of this 2100 square foot basement was developed into a games room. Featuring a massive wet bar, pool table, poker table and family room for relaxing. Cherry wood Wainscotting was a staple throughout this basement! The other portion of the basement was developed into a nanny suite with bedroom, bathroom, exercise area with a walk-in closet for storage.
Walking up the staircase featuring custom floor to ceiling wainscotting you arrive at the main floor where we completed a main floor renovation of the butlers pantry, mudroom, fireplace and new flooring throughout. These homeowners wanted to match their custom cabinetry that was currently in the kitchen with the new cabinetry being installed in the butlers pantry and mudroom. The homeowners also wanted to update their countertops so we brought in a beautiful quartzite to complete the look through their kitchen, pantry and mudroom. The end result was a seamless look throughout the main floor of this beautiful home.
Upstairs is the epitome of luxury. An addition was built out over the covered patio below to add space for a private yoga studio within the master bedroom. The ensuite features an extravagant full length vanity with dual sinks separated by a seated make up area and ceiling height cabinets to store anything your heart desires. Across from the vanity is a large walk-in shower with wall jets and a rain shower head next to a deep free standing clawfoot soaker tub. Across the ensuite is the massive walk-in closet featuring a continuation of the cabinetry found in the ensuite.
